OpenStudy (anonymous):

I dont get it and I want someone to explain it to meh

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

dialation factor of 2 means multiply each point by 2... so given points (-1, 2) (-4, 1) and (-3, 3) (-1, 2) --> (-2, 4) etc

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So the answer would be what?

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

which letter has new point (-2, 4) ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think for the 4 one would be: X’(-1, -2), Y’(-4,-1), Z’(-3,-3)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I also think the third one is:X’(1,2), Y’(4,1), Z’(3,3)

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

reflection across X axis is not quite as you just said :) you would make it the opposite of the x values in (x, y) so (-1, 2) would be (1, 2)

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

you've mixed up reflection over y versus reflection over x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think the 1st one is:D) X prime negative two comma four, Y prime negative eight comma two, Z prime negative six comma six I think the 2nd one is: A) X prime zero comma negative one, Y prime negative three comma negative two, Z prime two comma zero I think the 3rd one is: X’(1,2), Y’(4,1), Z’(3,3) I think the 4th one is: X’(-1, -2), Y’(-4,-1), Z’(-3,-3) can u just tell me which ones are wrong and the right ones plz thank u

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

1st and 2nd are correct :) you've mixed up the 3rd and 4th I think

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok thank u

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So the 4th one would be B And the 3d one would be C

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

yeah :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok thank u, u really did help

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):
