Write a variable expression using only one variable. A clothing store has twice as many blue shirts as red shirts, and one-tenth as many yellow shirts as blue shirts. A. Express the number of each shirt in terms of the number of red shirts r. B. If the store has twenty red shirts, how many red, blue, and yellow does the store have total?
I think it's A. red shirts:r;blue shirts: r2
and b would be????
i think be would be red shirts:r;yellow shirts: r/10??? the store has a total of 4.1 shirts????
its between 7 and 6
what is between 7 and 6?? The total amount of shirts??
nevermind I forgot about the yellow
so twenty red then 40 blue and what is a tenth of 40
that would be 44
so then add 20 44 and 40 and you get 104 shirts.
so would my guess of B be wrong?
I would just be 4 because you cant have a hundredth of a shirt
so it would look like, red shirts:r;yellow shirts: 4r?
redx.01r+r
u can only use one variable
x is times
oh, lolz i'm smart. thxs so much for the help :)
