What influence did the Greek epics written by Homer on roman culture?

Well, I believe when Rome conquered Greece, they adapted to Greek culture. I know that Virgil, a Roman poet, he did a copy of the Iliad and Odyssey written by Homer into Roman.

It was different because Homer wasn't as literate as Virgil
