OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the base is 24

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im confused dont judge ... ._.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but how ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

your welcome

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Go easy on yourself, we all on here to learn! And yes the base is 24!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how is it 24?

OpenStudy (luigi0210):

Welcome to Openstudy Wio~

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And to see how picture the triangle as a 3d image

OpenStudy (aa123):

goku

OpenStudy (anonymous):

base means side of the triangle, so 24 is the base

OpenStudy (austinl):

Technically speaking, when you calculate the area of a right triangle. it doesn't really matter which one you assign base, and which one is height.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im trying to figure out the volume V=(1/3)Bh

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@selenatorsmiler4life the base is the bottom and the height is the side

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks guys ! i guess lol u all helped !!!!!!!!!!! bye have a good day !!!!!!!!

OpenStudy (austinl):

Actually, if you are trying to find the \(volume\) of the triangular pyramid, the base is the entire triangle.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@TaylorSwift01 , no it means side. you can always search it up and check

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so its 42?

OpenStudy (austinl):

OpenStudy (austinl):

|dw:1393624252193:dw| This is the base.
