How many different five-letter strings can be formed from the letters A, B, C, D, E (repeats allowed) if the first letter must be a consonant and the last letter must be a vowel? Can anyone help me?

OpenStudy (zarkon):

where are you stuck....what have you tried?

im assuming 3 options for the first letter, 5 options for the next 3 letters since repeats are allowed and and 2 options for the last letter since it must be a vowel So it would be 3*5*5*5*2=750 ehhhh tooo many options I must be doing something wrong
