doctors worked harder than lawyers. That medicine is a profession with no restrictions to work hours and that law is a corporate type of job with restrictions.
doctors are responsible for care at all hours of the day and night.
both doctors and lawyers must take their work home at night. But when you are a doctor and someone is in the hospital, you must field calls from nurses all night. Lawyers don’t really have the same sort of torture and can sleep.

Doctors and Lawyers both have to deal with a lot of people. They both get payed a good amount of money. They both have to work at home sometimes.
Doctors get called in during the night. They do not get to sleep. They have to be careful because someones life could be at risk.
Lawyers do not get called in at night. They have to be careful because they are trying to prove someone either innocent or guilty.
Both are very important to society.
