When writing a research-based essay, it says that "Summary of the sources only" will receive an automatic 40%(F).
What does this mean?

it means when your researching something, and your only writing the essay with a summary of what you looked up. if your doing an essay on something you learned in school, you need to have the stuff you learned about too, opinions. Not just what you researched.

Hey BTW, if it is like a career research, how do you put your opinion in there? I am explaining the job description, education requirement, earnings, outlook of the field, and responsibilities of a psychologist. All the infos are from research;;;;

Well, say about how you think the job is great money wise, the hours. Just that kind of stuff, achievements you could make in that line of work...
