What was the reasons for U.S. neutrality during the 1920s and 1930s. How did ideas about neutrality change during the period from the end of World War I to the passage of the Lend-Lease Act? Be sure to include any events, terms, or people that may support your response.

I'm learning this right now, and most US citizens believed in isolationism - not wanting the US to get involved in other nations business. The Neutrality Acts prevented the US from selling goods and loaning money to foreign nations that were at war. (Not sure about this, but: this was taken back later, after Pearl Harbor.)
