A mouse’s tail gets cut off. If the mouse has babies later, how will this affect the length of the tails of its offspring?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It will not affect the length of the tails of any of the offspring. What happens to a mouse's tail after it is born, within reason, does not affect their genes, which means that it will not be passed on to the offspring of the mouse.
