Medals! Please answer. Hans claims that the transformation at right is a translation. Emily says that it is a reflection. Use corresponding vertices to explain who is right. Then describe the transformation.

looking at the diagram and the point W and W' the x value doesn't change, The y value moves up by 4.... from W(-3, -2) to W'(-3, 2) so this moving up, or sliding, apply to X and X' if the y value changes by 4, then you'll have a translation. if it moves by a different amount... such as double... then you have a reflection.
