How would I start this? Tangent line problem.

myininaya (myininaya):

You to find when f'=0

OpenStudy (luigi0210):

Oh, alright, seems simple enough, thanks!

myininaya (myininaya):

Did you ever find f'?

OpenStudy (luigi0210):

It would be \[\LARGE f'(x)=2cosx+2sinxcosx\] right?

myininaya (myininaya):

right now set that =0 and solve for x

myininaya (myininaya):

\[2\cos(x)(1+\sin(x))=0\]

myininaya (myininaya):

Solve both equations: cos(x)=0 1+sin(x)=0

OpenStudy (luigi0210):

And that'll give me x, to plug in and find y right?

myininaya (myininaya):

yep once you get x here make sure you plug into f(x) to get the corresponding y for each x in that domain given.

OpenStudy (luigi0210):

Alright, thanks again myininaya :)
