hi people medal given if u help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you know the formula?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for suface area

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can u teach me one of each problem

OpenStudy (anonymous):

like for number 1 ,5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The surface area is the same, don't let them confuse you with other numbers. the formula is SA = wh + lw + lh + ls. apply that to each problem

OpenStudy (nikato):

You can scroll down to where it talks about surface area http://www.mathsisfun.com/geometry/pyramids.html

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the foulma is sa= 1/2pl+b

OpenStudy (nikato):

I have the SA= area of base + [1/2 x perimeter of base x slant length]

OpenStudy (nikato):

So for #1 can you telling me: The area of the base? The perimeter of the base? And the slant length?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

we dnt know area of the base 4cm 6.5cm

OpenStudy (nikato):

Yes we do. I believe the base is a square. Since you know one side is 4, the other sides would also be 4. And the area of a square is the square of a side. So the area of your base is 4^2=16
