Explain the difference between a catalyst and an inhibitor.

well...Catalyst is a substance that ACCELERATES the rate of the reaction without getting consumed (ie it remains as it is even after the reaction) Inhibitor is is the substance that REDUCES (INHIBITS) the effect of catalyst ,,,,it reduces the catalytic behaviour or the catalyst

u use inhibtors when u want to use a catalyst ,, but not to the extreme extent
