I'm reading an e-book of chemistry. I found this expression: ϵ(photons)= h*c/λ. Now, I know h (6,626∗10^−34 J*s), c (3*10^8 m/s) and λ( 6,7*10^-7). The result is 4,4*10^-19. Why is the result this?

OpenStudy (aaronq):

i got \(2.9668*10^{-19}\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol. I'd like to know why the result is x*10^-19. How do you get 10^-19?

OpenStudy (aaronq):

like the physical interpretation or the numerical/mathematical reason, as in working with exponents?

physical interpretation
