A woman tunes her radio to a station broadcasting on 200 m. What does the 200 m tell her about the radio wave? A its amplitude B its frequency C its speed D its wavelength
what do you think? different stations are broadcasted all together.. how do you think we do that? how can all stations broadcast their own info without getting all jumbled up?
iam confused between A and D
did you think about what i asked you? how different stations broadcast their own messages ? all the different messages are continuously broadcasted.. don't they all interfere with each other? how do we avoid that? if you understand that.. u ll get your answer ?
so the answer is D
amplitude is a measure of the distance of a crest or trough and wavelength is the measure of one radiowaves am i right
unless u answer my question i won't reply to you :P
sorry for breaking the suspense,,,,,,,,but i guess Mashy's talking about Amplitude modulation
Nope.. m just talking about the basic idea of communication.. :P
ohk!
the answer cud have been D)Amplitude also no?
thank you for teaching me :P
*A)amplitude
But im wrong,,,The unit of Amplitude must have been the unit of ELECTRIC or MAGNETIC fIELDs ,,ie N/C or Tesla
but ur 200m suggests it must be Wavelength ,,as unit of wavelegth is metre
But ,, the answer IS FREQUENCY,,,,
yes D was the answer on the markshceme and thank you :D
perceiving that u meant 200M and not 200m ,, ,,200M means 200 MegaHertz so frequency......,,,,,,,But i checked my radio just now,,,200m is THERE on the radio,,,under SW (short wave) and they also mentioned METERS at the end,,,so even i thought wavelenth is appropriate
