x is greater than or equal to 1

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

x > = 1 what is your question ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That's the question. It's graphing inequalities.

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

graphing using the number line, right ??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, now it's x >= 5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks Beccaboo333

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

x >= 5 this is a vertical line. Plot your point at (5,0)....it will never cross the y axis

OpenStudy (luigi0210):

I don't wanna be rude, looks like @texaschic101 is already on it :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Awesome, thanks @texaschic101 !! @Luigi0210 , you're not being rude :)

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

now if you get one that says : y >= something, then it is a horizontal line and will not cross the x axis

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay, it wants two points. I don't know what the other one would be.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Got it! Thanks, @texaschic101 !!

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

so basically your looking for 2 points on the line x >= 5. x is always gonna be 5. so two points would be (5,0) and (5,2) or (5,3) or (5,4)
