can someone please help me find the area of my outline I already have the perimeter I just need help finding the area I would appreciate it so much thank you
The rectangles on the left and right look like they are both 1 1/2 by 2 1/2 so together they would be 2(1 1/5 x 2 1/2)=2(1.5)(2.5)
so I just multiply them together? I'm sorry geometry is so confusing for me.. that seems a lot easier than I expected it's hard to believe. I can tell you the perimeter if that has anything to do to help with the problem
the problem says to show my work so if you could please help me understand this I would appreciate it like you said up there 2(1 1/5 x 21/2)=2(1.5)(2.5) that's not the final answer right? I just would like to understand this please
Haven't you had algebra I ???
Yes I'm just honestly horrible at anything involving math/algebra nothing sticks in my brain and when it does It eventually goes away.. it makes me feel dumb
The one in the middles looks like it is 1 by 3. 1 times 3 = 3 2 x 1.5 x 2.5 = 7.5 7.5+3=10.5 Put down 10.5 for your answer and you need to learn that 2(3) means 2 times 3
And it doesn't matter whether you FEEL dumb or not. It is up to you to make sure you are NOT dumb. Only you can get yourself and education.
Okay that's makes some sense and I did know that it means to multiply the two together I was just wondering if that was the final answer or if you wanted me to do the rest to show you my understanding.. I usually confuse myself on the simplest stuff I really do understand what you're saying I'm trying to do better in this class that's why I wanted someone to explain so I can figure out how to use this in the future instead of cheating for the rest of my life it is not the right thing to do and I want to be a ambitious and intellectual person
Good for you!!!
