A The sea anemones are not affected by the crabs. B The sea anemones benefit from the crabs. C The sea anemones are harmed by the crabs. D The sea anemones and the crabs both harm each other.

this the one that i'm not understanded

help pls

OpenStudy (elisaneedshelp):

im stuck betwee b and C

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think the best answer is b

OpenStudy (elisaneedshelp):

why?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

cuz that what I think ok tell me what do u think

OpenStudy (elisaneedshelp):

Well the sea anemones already protect the crabs and those two answer choices are so tricky if it was B it would be switching the scenario but if it was C then i guess it would correspond with what is already said in the question and add on that the crabs harm the sea anemones

OpenStudy (elisaneedshelp):

i think id chose C

altight thx u really

A scientist conducted an experiment to determine how soil microorganisms affect plant growth. OpenStudy (anonymous):

A group of scientists is involved in genetically modifying a food crop to make it resistant to a certain species of insect pests. They exposed a sample of the crop to twenty of the insects and found it to be resistant. How can the scientists best increase the validity of their study? A publish their results B carry out more trials C use different food crops D use two control groups

OpenStudy (elisaneedshelp):

For the other one it was because the soil is the constant variable that does not get replaced or changed therefore it is controled unlike the microorganisms which are manipulated and changed, which is called the experimental variable..... and this one im not sure of very well sorry

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how about the new question

OpenStudy (elisaneedshelp):

idk i cant decide an answer for that one
