The general formula for the volume of a prism is..\[Volume = Base * Height\]..so, for this problem we have..\[(x^2+5x+4)(x+3)\]This is solved by distributing each of the terms over one another. This yields..\[x^3+3x^2+5x^2+15x+4x+12=x^3+8x^2+19x+12\]
