Can someone help explain to me the 30-60-90 triangle.

Okay. In a 30-60-90 triangle, one angle is 90 degrees, so it's right triangle. Right triangles have two legs and a hypotenuse. The legs are the two shorter sides, adjacent to the right angle, and the hypotenuse is the longest side, opposite the hypotenuse. The relationship between sides of the 30-60-90 triangle is as follows: The hypotenuse is 2 times as long as the shorter leg. The longer leg is sqrt(3) times as long as the shorter leg. You can use this to figure out all three side lengths given just one. Hope that helped.
