Islam believes in Mohammed the prophet. Judaism also believes in God, but in a different way. Christians have criticized Jews for rejecting Jesus as their messiah, and Jews have criticized Christians for corrupting the concept of one God and following a false messiah.

The three major holy books of the monotheistic faiths are alike by showing the reader the stories of the religion’s prophets or messiahs.  Another way that they are alike is that they show the teachings of the religion’s messiah or prophet and they teach the reader to only believe in one god.  A way that these holy books of the monotheistic faiths are different is that they are named different, the Torah, the Bible, and the Qur’an, that they worship different prophets and messiahs, and that they study different religions.
