Species adapt over time through structural and behavioral adaptations. Which example describes a behavioral adaptation of a lion? A. sharp claws for capturing prey B. sharp teeth for eating C. protective over young cubs D. strong legs for running
@orion92898, @DollyAcquah
the definition: Behavioral adaptations are the things organisms do to survive. For example, bird calls and migration are behavioral adaptations. Adaptations are the result of evolution. Evolution is a change in a species over long periods of time.
Now @orion92898 what do you think?
dang it I had C. and a good reason and all but you put that and it sound more correct.
:/
is it C or A?
It's C. The question is asking about a BEHAVIOR. Not a physical trait. Look at A, B, and D. They're all physical traits. A "behavior" is something that we DO.
well now I understand... :)
thanks
