Which is an example of a structural adaptation of an elephant? A. Females travel and raise young together. B. It grieves over the death of another. C. It takes care of injured or weak members. D. It has molars to chew vegetation.

The question is asking us to choose the "structural" adaptation. In other words, the PHYSICAL trait. NOT the behavior. Look at the choices. Three of them are behaviors. Things that the elephants DO. One of them is a physical trait. Something that the elephant HAS. Which one is a physical trait?

I like that answer^^^

what is a phisic trait? It never told me in my lesson

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A "physical" trait? Physical traits are things that we have. I have light skin. That's an example of a physical trait. I have ten fingers. I have ten toes. I have brown eyes. Those are also examples of physical traits.

D

Your book uses the word "structural." It's pretty much the same as "physical."

OpenStudy (anonymous):

D is right. Wonderful.
