Help? Medal + Fan In triangles ABC and JKL, angle A is congruent to angle J, and angle B is congruent to angle K. Which of the following is a true statement? a) Triangle ABC and triangle JKL must be right triangles. b)Triangle ABC must be congruent to triangle JKL. c)Triangle ABC is similar to triangle JKL. d)Triangle ABC and triangle JKL must be isosceles triangles.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

b is your answer cause c must equal l cause all angles must add up to 180

Thank you!

welcome :)

its closed

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

Not true...a congruent triangle is the exact same! A triangle CAN have the same 3 angles but different sized legs...these are called similar triangles.

I accidentally closed it. Idk what that means though.

Then what would have been the correct one @johnweldon1993

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry if i am wrong :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Its okay! You tried :)

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

It would have been C...like I said a triangle can have the same angles but can be of different lengths

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay, thank you :)

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

No problem :)
