3 of the digits 0-9 are chosen randomly by a computer what is the probability that it will choose 3 sequential digits?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I will assume it has to pick 3 different digits. There are C(10,3) = 120 combinations of 3 digits. The only groups that are sequential of those 120 are: 012, 123, 234, 345, 456, 567, 678, 789.....8 combinations 8 / 120 = 0.0667

These are the answer choices. They are fractions A.1/120 B. 1/15 C.1/20 D. 1/5040

8/120 simplifies to 1/15
