Probability Distribution? It is reported that 87% of lung cancer cases are caused by smoking. Suppose three lung cancer patients are randomly selected from the large population of people with that disease. Construct the probability distribution of X, the number of patients with cancer caused by smoking. Would you tend to doubt the 87% estimate if none of the three could have had their lung cancer caused by smoking?

OpenStudy (kropot72):

Have you studied the binomial distribution?

@kaldrid3 Are you there?
