Well, impressionism would have lots of bright colors and wouldn't have much detail. This painting doesn't have a lot of color and it is very detailed so I would say he is an artist.

Does that make sense? Impressionism is also supposed to focus on real life. So ho something appears that's the way it is supposed to look. I doubt you'd see anything like this though in real life.
