i need to write a 2 page story through the eyes of someone who has been disconnected from society for an extended period of time. Who is with you, what situation brought you to flee? Where are you located? How do you live? For how long etc, and i want to be creative so please give me ideas on what should be my story line or anything would be helpful.

I would be with my brother. We both have very similar views on society, and I can totally imagine us fleeing from it in some anarchy. Possibly the US has been completely corrupted, or a nuclear bomb threat on peaceful countries has caused us to leave out of disgust. We'd be located on some isolated island, somewhere too small for our old country to find us. We live with the locals, helping them in return for shelter, food, etc.
