OpenStudy (anonymous):

n=-8

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

What's preventing you from performing the substitution?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i need help on how to do this problem so i can understand it so when the test comes i get it

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

Okay, substitute the given value for the placeholder with the same name as the assignment. n = -8 \(15 - \dfrac{6n}{4}\) Find all the n's and substitute the given value, -8.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you just replace n with -8 so 6 x -8 is -48 SO that will be 15 + 12 because it is really 15 -(-12) THE 2 SUBTRACTION SIGNS TURNS INTO ADDITION and you get 27 as your answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that easy????

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yup :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just fan me if you need anymore help with anything :D
