What equation should I use to describe that HCl is added to 2CrO4 + 2H3O <-> Cr2O7 +3H2O I know that HCl need to be added to produce more Cr2O7. What kind of chemical reaction or equation do I need to state?

OpenStudy (wolfe8):

I don't really get what you mean but, do you mean writing HCl on the arrow to show its use as catalyst?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So basically I need to produce more Cr2O7 ions by adding more HCl. If HCl is added, the equilbrium will shift to right which gives more Cr2O7. But I also need to write a chemical reaction or equation to prove that how HCl is added and Cr2O7 is increased
