I'm not sure if this is the right place for this. Most people in the United States use feet and miles to measure distance in their everyday lives. Why do scientists in the United States use meters to measure distance? A.Meters allow scientists to be more accurate in their measurements B.Science requires special measurements that are not used in every day life C. All scientists use meters to measure distance to help eliminate confusion. D. Meters are better than feet for measuring objects in motion.

Haha, yeah, I guess any science works! Fun fact: The failed Mars Rover mission was a unit issue. Two teams worked on the project, and they used different units. So the numbers weren't consistent in its software.
