A scientist is studying a unicellular organism. The organism normally looks like image A. Then the scientist places the cell in two different solutions. In the first solution, the cell changes to look like image B. In the second solution, it changes to look like image C. Which process describes these changes? A. mitosis B. osmosis C. cytokinesis D. photosynthesis

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its not photosynthesis

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or osomosis

OpenStudy (anonymous):

osmosis

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sooo its either A or C

OpenStudy (barrelracer011):

We need to pics to decide what process it is....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok one sec

OpenStudy (barrelracer011):

kk

OpenStudy (anonymous):

did you get it?

OpenStudy (barrelracer011):

cytokinesis means the cytoplasmic division of a cell at the end of mitosis or meiosis, bringing about the separation into two daughter cells. And mitosis means a type of cell division that results in two daughter cells each having the same number and kind of chromosomes as the parent nucleus, typical of ordinary tissue growth. So i dont think it is either A or C

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but which one is it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

plsssssssssss help !!!!!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):
