I know this isnt math but help please! A bucket of warm water can be considered a closed system for a very short period of time. Which best explains this phenomenon? A. The bucket of warm water will eventually turn cold and begin to evaporate. B. The bucket of warm water can be easily spilled. C. The bucket of warm water can contain different elements. D. The mass of the bucket of water will eventually disappear.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

B is completely situational so that is out

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for D mass can't just disappear

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hmm yeah no on B

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Unless the water evaporates?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

than wouldn't that be A

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Guess so, thank you!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The reason is that a closed system has nothing going in or out and water retains energy very well also water it polar so it is attracted to itself. It doesnt like contact with other things.

A
