So need help finding the apothem first of all?

yes

zepdrix (zepdrix):

Recall that a polygon has interior angles totaling \(\Large\bf\sf (n-2)\cdot 180\) degrees. Where n is the number of sides. So for a hexagon, (6-2)*180 = 720. Dividing that evenly between 6 angles means that each angle measures 120 degrees.|dw:1393913746606:dw|
