If the solutions to a quadratic function are x = 3 and x = -5, write the factored form of the function.

OpenStudy (lucaz):

solutions of a quadratic are the values of x when the function is equal to zero, these x values are the roots. so in factored form you have (x+a)(x+|dw:1393936986084:dw|b)=0 if you substitute x by 3 and -5 you can find the values of a and b that make this equation true..
