In the function y = 3(x - 1)2 + 2, what is the vertex? Explain how you can tell without graphing it on the calculator.

OpenStudy (raden):

general formula of quadratic function is y = a(x - h)^2 + k with (h,k) is the vertex so, if you have y = 3(x - 1)^2 + 2 then the vertex is (1,2)
