For the following system, if you isolated x in the first equation to use the Substitution Method, what expression would you substitute into the second equation? x − y = 8 −x − y = −7 8 − y −8 − y 8 + y −8 + y <-- this is the answer I got correct me if i got it wrong thanks

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

x - y = 8 -- add y to both sides x = y + 8 you would sub y + 8 in for x in the second equation same thing as 8 + y
