since DB = DC, we know D cuts BC in half, so it is a median. Also, AD is perpendicular to BC, so AD is an altitude of ABC. Lastly, for all this to be true, AB must = AC, thus AD must bisect BAC, meaning AD bisects BAC, so it is also a perpendicular bisector. Answer is D
