"OK," I continued, "but when are you going to put an end to this lunacy?" He grinned: "Are you nuts? There are lots of professional lunatics in this country. One of them would snatch my spot, so I can't leave town. What's more, I'm sort of used to this insanity." As he leaped up and skipped away, he said, "Don't tell anyone. Even if you did, they wouldn't believe you!"
