The OpenStudy time is just a few minute faster then your regular time. No big deal :) If it does bother you a lot.. Maybe administration would be better to talk to. Such as Preetha.

thomaster (thomaster):

On my screen it's like a 9-10 minute difference. Server time isn't entirely accurate as it seems.

OpenStudy (♪chibiterasu):

3-6 difference for me. I noticed it a while ago but I never bothered reporting it in, lol.

woah

OpenStudy (akashdeepdeb):

It's a toughie bug to crack! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-5wpm-gesOY

For technically inclined folks -- this is due to the fact that current OS servers do not use NTP and thus do not sync with timeservers. Hence time gradually drifts away as it always does. We are in process of migrating to a new infrastructure setup (that's why you also see site going down every now and then and more often in the past week). Once that process is completed all application servers will be synced to a time server and time should be correct). TL;DR - It'll be fixed soon.

mathslover (mathslover):

@c0decracker - lol, I only loved the last sentence - "It'll be fixed soon." The rest went over my head! :P Though, Thanks for the information ! :)
