Word problems give me a hard time, please help me understand: The weight of a person varies inversely as the square of its distance from the center of the Earth. If a person weighs 175 pounds on the surface of the earth (r= 4000 miles) how much will he weight at 1000 miles above the Earth's surface?

lol 4000/1000 (when you silmplfy)you get 4 then 175/4 you get 43
