She's trying to narrow her topic, and she keeps stopping after listing possible ideas to judge whether or not the idea is a good one. What advice can you give her at this stage of the writing process? A. Keep stopping to evaluate each idea B. List as many ideas as possible without stopping C. Start grouping similar ideas right away D. Write her thesis statement before brainstorming ideas

Well it can't be D because you need a topic to write a thesis. It isn't B because that's just ridiculous. That sounds kinda fast. So it must be A or C. I'm going to go ahead and say C because you can have multiple ideas in the same category.
