bball game=$15, burrito=$7.50, admission ticket= $22.50, sweatshirt=$25, airplane ticket=$225, car rental= $110 , hotel=$125 3. Compare the airplane cost to the daily cost for car rental and the nightly charge for hotel using an equality symbol. 4. What are the mathematical properties and how are they used in finding the solution of a linear equation containing parenthesis? 5. Create an equation to determine the total cost of the family vacation. How much did the family spend for their vacation?
help me please
anyone??
So I believe the inequality would be 225<110x+125y but to solve the inequality you would need to know the days they stayed in the hotel (y) and the days they rented the car (x)
for number 3 i had 225=125+110 i guess i was wrong
well if its an inequality it has to either be > or < and then for the car rental and hotel if it's 110 per day then you need a variable but if it is 110 total then you're almost right, it would be 225<125+110
for number 4 theyre asking for the mathematical properties and how theyre used? does that mean distributive property, cumulative, and additive?
Anyone please explain what number 4 means??
yeah the mathematical properties are the distributive, cumulative, etc.
