Announcing the new Ambis...

I would like to announce the new Ambis this Friday!!! We are waiting on three Ambi applicants who have not turned in their IDs.  As I have explained several times, we need these IDs because this is a position of trust and responsibility. We cannot have people representing OpenStudy who wish to remain anonymous.  It is a security risk for OpenStudy and its community.
 So if these three people do not turn in their IDs by Thursday, they are out of the first cohort. Ambi applicants check your email!

@M0rganFreeman , here ID refers to your School ID/Photo Identity Card or any ID/Card that tells about yourself so that it can be verified that you are not a fake user . I was expecting them to be announced 4 days ago, as it said the training ambies were to be announced March 1st. But take your time with delays and heavy debates (if there are any), rushing can make bad decisions. I can't wait to see who the new ambies are, it's very exciting!

Surd, you can become a good ambassador but for that you need to follow these steps: i) Check yourself whether you have all the qualities in yourself that an ambassador should have. ii) You need to welcome new users to OpenStudy and introduce them to this site and it's functioning etc. iii) You need to increase your SS a little bit to make a good impression among the mods and other juries. Though, it has been mentioned that Smart Score (SS) doesn't have any major role while selecting an ambassador , though, I will recommend you to answer more and more questions effectively and collect their links which you will use as a proof that you are a good helper. iv) Check out the Application Form and fill it out : https://docs.google.com/forms/d/14kZejqKJuYBxuRCxCjwa-rAUtScOYB6KTlrZDmYLTGM/viewform v) Keep helping the users on OpenStudy by which you will not only gain the the position of an ambassador but also the respect that a mentor has among his students and colleagues. vi) Last but not the least, invite your friends , known persons to OpenStudy and ask them to do the same.
