There are several ways to do it, but I'm using the easiest way Area of the Base: 64 Area of the triangle (one): 12*8/2 = 48 But there are 4 triangles, so you have to multiply 48 by 4, which will give you 192 Since they are looking for the surface area, simply add them: 64+192 = 256
