Any bathroom or spring balance or even electronic scales are all calculated with gravity at 9.81 m/s^2.

Only the scales like pan balances are the scales not effected by gravity because they compare one mass on one pan to the one you are measuring.

So even if you were on the moon and you used a 7gm mass on the earth, it would only weigh 1 gm on the moon, and so it would still compare whatever you would measure it against , because the measured item would also be 1/7th the mass
