hmm i shall help!

OpenStudy (jacobbirddog):

An inverse relationship means that as x increases, y decreases, and vice versa. So, from the point (3,15), we know that the value of x will go down as we increase y, and up as we decrease it. When we decrease y from 15 to 9, therefore, we need an x value which is greater than 3. So B, C, and D are all correct.
