Elise and Miguel both collect baseball cards. Miguel has two more than two times as many cards as Elise. Together they have 971 cards. a. Write an equation to represent this solution b. How many cards does each person have?

well let elise have e cards then miguel has 2e + 2 so together they have e + 2e + 2 = 971 or 3e + 2 = 971 hope it helps

subtract 2 from both sides of the equation. then divide both sides of the equation by 3 that will give you elise's cards then you can calculate Miguels
