The dimensions of a dollar bill are 6.125 inches by 3.375 inches. However, a dollar bill created 1891 to 1928 had dimensions of 7.3125 inches by 3.125 inches. Are the two dollar bills similar?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

D. Yes because the sides are proportional

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can you prove it, please?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

For the sides to be proportional, the following must be true: 6.125/ 7.3125 =3.375/ 3.125 I hope that you can see they cannot be equal without reaching for any sort of calculator lol
