solve the second equation for a in terms of b, then plug that value into the third equation to get b. then solve equation 2 for a, and plug a and b into equation 1 to find c.

i don't think that is correct. b = 1 not 6.

I made a mistake adding to equation 1 instead of 3. :) b is 1, etc, etc...
